Radar's Secret Weapon 4 FEB 2007 - When we first thought of producing a line of lesbian apparel in 2005, the first question that came to mind was, "is there a lesbian market?" Our minds stayed mum, but our guts screamed yes. One month before Radar's one hundredth day, our hunch is beginning to be proven right: 1. We saw someone wearing Radar Sappho at the Pride March. 2. We saw someone wearing Radar Gay Dog at SM Megamall. 3. We received an SMS message asking when we're opening a branch in Alabang. 4. Radar's Downelink network grew to over one hundred members in its first two weeks. 5. We received an SMS message thanking us that the Radar Sappho she bought for herself fit very nicely on her. 6. We received an SMS message thanking us that the Radar Sappho she bought for her girlfriend made her sex life more exciting. We didn't bother to ask how. ;-) However, more than wanting to be right in thinking that there is a lesbian market, we want to be sure that Radar is right for the lesbian market. But we would never be sure unless you tell us and we would never be right unless you guide us. You're our secret weapon. |
